Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancer in Asian women. It is totally preventable if a PAP’s smear is done after woman starts her sexual life. PAP’s smear is a simple and painless test. Yearly PAP’s smear for three years should be done consecutively. After 3 normal reports of PAP’S smear a 10 year gap can be taken.
Cervical cancer is common in women with multiple sexual partners and women of lower socio-economic strata who fail to maintain adequate hygiene.
